11 March 2014

Cupola Group MEA, the region's leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and contact centre services, is partnering with Economic Zones World (EZW) and Dubai Customs in launching the world's first purpose built e-commerce hub "Matajircom".  The Matajircom e-commerce project will position EZW as the global hub of the growing online retail economy and Dubai Customs as the world's leader in facilitating international trade.

Matajircom will be headquartered in Dubai's TechnoPark and is due to become operational by 2015. The project is aligned with the vision of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for a knowledge economy. Matajircom will provide e-commerce businesses with a one-stop around-the-clock gateway to multiple services: fulfillment services, payment gateways, storefront development solutions, marketplace platforms and contact centre services.

Cupola Group MEA has been selected as Matajircom's preferred contact centre partner for the initiative, allowing e-commerce businesses to manage inbound sales and order-processing with 24/7/365 technical support. Cupola Group MEA also has the ability to offer fulfilment services, including delivery and warehousing solutions, to these businesses.

Humaira Majid, Chief Operating Officer, Cupola Group MEA believes that the Matajircom e-commerce hub initiative is well positioned for success, "Matajircom has all the necessary components to become a successful venture. EZW and Dubai Customs are creating an unparalleled and seamless gateway for businesses looking to initiate online commerce by bringing together world class partners with expertise in all areas of the e-commerce ecosystem. Cupola is proud to be a part of this initiative and we see immense potential in forming Matajircom."
